About English Electric Lightning plus Rock Disco

Derek Eynon (vocals and bass) started his career in the late 1970s in Solihull as the lead singer and bassist of Night Service. The group submitted material to Island Records and received a rejection letter from Guy Ritchie who back then was an office junior.

Derek later played for more than a decade with folk rockers Red Shoes who are still an enormously successful folk band and had spells playing bass with Company of Strangers, Those 3…Redbeards and others before embarking on a ten-year solo career

Nigel Dorman (lead guitar, vocals) is from Redditch has been a professional guitar teacher for 25 years and spent 20 years as lead guitarist with Bromsgrove’s Trigger, arguably the biggest band in the area at the time.

Brod Baughan (drums) has been playing drums since the 1960s, and has toured the USA backing American Bluesmen. He brings a wealth of experience and a custom built Gretsch kit.
