About Faberge Inspired Eggs
In this special WI hosted decoupage class, we will be creating beautiful "Faberge" inspired eggs to be your centerpiece this Easter!
To give plenty of time to decoupage and embellish the eggs (ostrich egg sized) - and enjoy a cuppa and catch up whilst creating! - the workshop will run for three hours from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
Taking inspiration from the art of Faberge, we will explore ways of adding pattern, form and texture to give a variety of finished effects. We will learn about the art of decoupage and the techniques required to achieve different finishes. We will also use sequin art to add patterns, outlines and structure to our cracking creations!
With dozens of colours and patterns to choose from you can see what takes your fancy on the day or you are equally welcome to come along with an idea already in mind.
I'm delighted to be bringing this Maleficent Things workshop to the Dulwich WI and hope you enjoy this project! The WI are hosting this event and all are welcome to come along (you don't need to be a member).
