About Let's Talk About Periods.
Let’s Talk About Periods is a series of events looking to understand and challenge attitudes towards menstruation. It's a safe space for people to share experiences, offload, learn from each other, reclaim and celebrate the body that gave all of us life.
This month we have a talk by Anthropologist Chris Knight PhD, author of Blood Relations: Menstruation and the origins of culture, a radical perspective on the role of menstruation in the creation of human culture.
After Chris' talk there will be an open discussion, encouraging anyone who wishes to share questions, thoughts and experiences to add to the conversation.
Doors 6.45pm | Talk starts 7pm
