How do you feel about the image above? Do you find it beautiful? challenging? empowering? revolting? Let's talk about it.
Throughout recorded history, menstruation has been largely kept out of sight and discourse. What happens when artists decide to bring it into the public eye? This will be the focus of our next event.
Let’s Talk About Periods is a series of events looking to understand and challenge attitudes towards menstruation. It's a safe space for people to share experiences, offload, learn from each other, reclaim and celebrate the body that gave all of us life.
This event isn't only for women, men and teens very welcome!
7pm Doors, join us for drinks and free nibbles | 7.30pm Group Discussion followed by creative session - creat your own menstruation themed art.
We will be collecting tampon, pad and money donations for Eat of Heat food bank.
