About An Evening With Stephen Fry

Join The Urology Foundation and Stephen Fry for an evening of excellent conversation, as Stephen looks at his career, his many travels, his writing, and his health. 

Often we Brits are a tad reserved when it comes to talking about the embarrassing things in life. On 4 June, join us in central London for an evening with Stephen Fry looking at the conundrum of awkward conversations in Britain.

Expect fantastic anecdotes, much laughter, and hopefully a little insight into how we might all get a little bit better at dealing with the difficult conversations we encounter. 

This is what Stephen had to say about the event,

"My run in with prostate cancer taught me about the importance of charities who are working hard on behalf of patients like myself. Thanks to the work The Urology Foundation (TUF) did long before my diagnosis, my experience of prostate cancer was far less fraught than it could have been. My excellent surgeon was trained through TUF and so it’s a pleasure to be joining them for what I’m sure will be a riotous evening. I look forward to seeing you there!"

Stephen will be joined on stage by the award winning BBC journalist, Jane Corbin, who will lead us all in the conversation with Stephen on the night.
