About Introduction to Burlesque Movement - Week two

Do you want to try burlesque dancing but aren't sure where to start? Feel like it's time to go back to basics? Or just want a little boost to your confidence? Join international burlesque artist Fleur du Mal for a six week introductory course of burlesque movement! Each week we'll concentrate on a different classic burlesque move, and how to incorporate it into choreographed routines. Come along to separate sessions on a drop-in basis, or sign up for the full course for a discount!

Who is welcome?
Classes are open to anyone, regardless of dance ability or experience. However, as burlesque is an adult genre, attendees must be over 18 years of age.
It's also important to note that the studio is located on the first floor of an old building and is accessed via a flight of stairs.

What should I wear?
Clothes that make you feel confident and that are easy to move in! The studio can be cold during the winter, so it's advised to wear layers, at least to start the class.
Shoes should be indoor only, trainers/pumps with non-marking soles, or suitable dance heels. Absolutely no stilettos! You can also go barefoot if you prefer.
Don't forget to bring your water!
