Kate Lissauer, multi-instrumentalist, composer and leader in the UK’s old-time, bluegrass, American
roots and early country music scene, known by many as front-woman for Buffalo Gals, presents her
stunning duo act - featuring one of the country’s finest, most experienced Appalachian step-dancers,
Sibylle Riesen.
 
Kate’s award-winning fiddle and banjo-playing with her soaring low and
lonesome vocals, is accompanied by Sibs’ thrilling percussive dance, hamboning and duet singing.
This unmissable show, with driving energy complemented by moving and reflective original and
traditional numbers, is delivered with the easy humour and audience rapport for which Kate’s
shows are renowned.
