About Over the Moon
Over the Moon weaves together gentle classical music with familiar nursery rhymes and games in an interactive musical adventure for babies.
Join us for musical tickling, stretching, chomping and stamping as we journey together through the the day: waking, eating, playing and sleeping.
With music by Debussy, Ravel, Humperdinck and Monteverdi alongside folk songs, nursery rhymes and music composed by the company, Over The Moon lasts 30 minutes and includes a chance to get comfy beforehand and play together at the end.
Sarah Forbes (soprano) performs in both opera and oratorio and specialises in training young voices including running her own choir, Addiscombe Children’s Choir. Catherine Carter (mezzo) has created and performed work for young audiences for both Spitalfields Music and Wigmore Hall. Jenny Gould (piano) is a composer and singer/songwriter who has composed music for children’s voices and numerous pieces of children’s theatre including the Young Shakespeare Company and her own show Prince Caspian for Opera Brava.
