JAY RAYNER With his accomplished Jazz quartet, featuring Pat Gordon Smith on vocals and Jay on piano. Jay is a widely acknowledged award winning journalist and food critic, with a regular review in the Observer. He also chairs radio 4’s Kitchen Cabinet, speaks on food on BBC’s One Show, and is a judge on MasterChef, on both sides of the Atlantic! The evening will start with Jay telling us about his work, and recapping some of his more notorious restaurant reviews! After a break including refreshments, we will be treated to some of his bands delightful jazz, more frequently heard at the Union Hall in Brooklyn, Brasserie Zedel, or at the Ivy.
