About WeGotThis Indoor Skate Meet - 10th Dec
WeGotThis is an activist led community rollerskating group. We are body positive, queer friendly, gender inclusive, and welcome skaters of all abilities, especially those of you who might be new. Never put your skates on before? Fret not, you're in the right place!
We welcome people from all walks of life and encourage cheering each other on, in a friendly, no pressure environment.
Expect a mix of music, ranging from 70's funk and disco to upbeat punk...and everything in between. If you've got a playlist you love to skate to, we want to hear it. Caring is sharing, right?
Sessions run from 6.30pm - 9.30pm and you're welcome to stay for as long (or not) as you'd like.
Ticket prices on a staggered scale to make it accessible: £9 if you're working and able to pay, with a £5 concession rate for those of us who are students/low wage/just plain ol' broke...no questions asked. A very limited number of £0 spaces available for those of us who are flat broke, but would still like to join. We kindly ask that if you can pay, please do, as we are a not-for-profit community organisation, with costs but no actual income. It's all a passion project, baby...
We are excited to see you at the indoor skate meets and continue our dancing on wheels long into the deepest darkest bits of winter. See you on the dancefloor, yeah?
Event Terms & Conditions
All skaters do so at their own risk.
All skaters to provide their own skates, as we currently do not have skates to lend or hire.
All skaters to wear adequate safety gear appropriate to their level of skating.
In the event you need to cancel, please message @wegotthislondon and explain so that your ticket can be either refunded or used for another session.
Please be kind and courteous to one another: we foster a supportive and friendly atmosphere with respect given to people's pronouns, preferences and needs where possible.
