About Calligraphy Exhibit and Workshop

"If I were born Chinese, I would not be a painter but a writer. I’d write my pictures." - Pablo Picasso

  • Hong Zhou MBBS MSc MPH MHFA, founder of Mile Rainbow CIC, adopts a multidisciplinary approach, including Japanese, Korean and Chinese languages and calligraphy, to fill in the gaps of existing psychological services.
  • Studies discovered that learning Chinese, the only existing pictographic language in the world today, via calligraphy, can activate both left and right cerebral hemispheres thus boost both brain function and psychological wellbeing.

  • Hong had calligraphy exhibitions in Finland and China
  • Her works were also featured on the official poster of a movie named Jade Warrior and exhibited at "the first European Bob Dylan Symposium" held in Caen, France.
