This ticket is for FREE Wild Day for one child (and accompanying adult/s) at Westwood Farm Wild Woods, RG31 for 'Wild and Free', our wild wellbeing day sponsored by the Mid Counties Cooperative.
THE SITE :: Facilities on site and Accessibility
We do not have access to the local school for use of their toileting facilities so we suggest you go before you come. We do have a basic 'toilet shed' with a camping toilet in, contact us if you would like more information about our toileting policy. We have a changing mat for little ones. The summerhouse is dry in all weather with a comfy sofa for breastfeeding and snuggling tired ones should you need it.
The site is accessible by wheelchair and buggy however some parts of the site can on occasion get very muddy or uneven in wet weather.
If you plan to come in a motorized mobility scooter, please get in touch to discuss access.
PARKING :: Where and where not?
It is absolutely critical that no one parks on the Brookfields School site due to the restrictions they need to have in place for COVID 19 for their vulnerable and shielding students. We value our relationship with Brookfields School and as such this is non negotiable. Parking at Brookfields is heavily controlled by them to reduce any risk of infection to their vulnerable groups. Please allow enough time to park your car and if not then don't rush, there's no such thing as 'late' with our group! We will see you whenever you make it. We know that little ones sometime have varying schedules.
There is free parking on surrounding residential roads, however, we ask all our visitors to be considerate of local residents and Brookfields School when choosing where to park. Please do not park on yellow lines, grass verges or blocking driveways and allow yourself good time to park, get your little ones out and waterproofed up. There is no fixed start that you will miss to 'activities', so don't panic if you arrive 30 minutes 'late'!
WHERE? :: Finding us
The site is listed on Google Maps (see below). Please ensure you follow directions to Sage Road RG31 6GG (not Westwood Farm School) and look for our sign which will be out on the day. Westwood Farm School and Brookfields School do not have any involvement in the administration of this group and won't be able to help with any queries.
The group is NOT accessible from Westwood Farm School, so if you arrive there you will need to walk around the entire site to access the entrance; google maps estimates this takes about 9 minutes on foot via the footpath if you follow directions to Westwood Farm Wild Woods, Sage Road, RG31 6GG .

BOOKING :: What happens after I book?
Your ticket will be emailed to you by TicketLab as a confirmation but please look out for emails from us which will tell you what to expect or bring or for a cancellation if the weather becomes dangerous.
Bookings are confirmed when you complete and return your booking form by email to us which you will be sent to the email address you provide at payment.

CANCELLATIONS ::
Our group runs in all weathers, so come dressed appropriately for fun. Feel free to bring extra warm drinks for you and your child to have by the fireside.
In the event of high winds or lightning forecast, a session will be cancelled and you'll be notified by 8am that morning by email. This is because it is not safe under the trees in very windy weather or lightening. We will process a refund for you for the session in these circumstances.
