About London East Asia Film Festival presents Taegukgi: The Brotherhood of War (2004) + Q&A with Production Designer Shin Bo-Kyeong
The London East Asia Film Festival season of films presented at The Cinema Museum starts with the South Korean war drama Taegukgi: The Brotherhood of War (2004), directed by Kang Je-gyu. This is followed by a Q&A with the film’s Production Designer Shin Bo-Kyeong.
Two brothers from Seoul are torn apart when they are forced to fight in the Korean War. Jin-tae, the elder, sacrifices everything to protect his younger brother Jin-seok, but the brutal frontlines twist loyalty into rivalry. Their bond is tested amid chaos, betrayal, and the shifting tides of history.
144 mins. Korean with English subtitles.
Doors open at 16.30, for a 17.30 start.
Refreshments will be available in our licensed cafe/bar.
