About Masters of the Dark: The Science of Bats

Join Nik Knight from the Hampshire Bat Group for a fascinating exploration of the hidden world of bats.

Discover how modern science has transformed our understanding of these remarkable mammals, from echolocation and sound analysis to night-vision technology, radio tracking, DNA research, flight studies, and even paleontology.

The evening include updates on Bishop's Waltham bat records and conservation projects, highlighting how science is helping to protect bats closer to home.

A must for wildlife enthusiasts and anyone curious about the science behind the night sky.

Tea and coffee will be available, with time to socialise, ask questions, and chat with Nik after the talk.
