About Dustin’s Bar Mitzvah friends and family tickets

Battle

London indie rock outfit Battle initially came together in the mid-'90s when founders Jason Bavanadan (vocals/guitar) and Jamie Ellis (guitar) were tinkering around with their instruments while still attending secondary school. Inspired by the likes of Nirvana, Echo & the Bunnymen , Britpop, and Motown, the two friends headed to Kent University in 2000. There, they met Tim Scudder (bass) and Oliver Davies (drums) and spent the next two years honing a quirky, energetic style.Their debut single, "Isabelle/Feel the Same," was issued by Fierce Panda in April 2005. A second single, "Demons," followed on Transgressive in September, and the 1,500 copies sold out in one day. Having already played shows with other popular U.K. bands such as the Rakes, the Subways, and Bloc Party, Battle made their stateside performance debut at New York City's Mercury Lounge in March 2006. An appearance at the annual South by Southwest convention also coincided the March release of Battle's third single,"Tendency." The Back to Earth EP followed in October. ~ MacKenzie Wilson,Rovi

Dustins Bar Mitzvah

Dustin's Bar Mitzvah were initially active between 2001-2007. The band achieved great success in Japan, issuing a collection of demos entitled Dial M For Mitzvah in 2006 entering the Japanese top 40 albums chart, and again with the album 'Get Your Mood On' in 2007. They played sold out tours of Japan in January 2006 and Jaunary 2007.They have released four singles in the UK:

Jimmy White/Lucy, To The Ramones, The Grass and Kick Him Out/Young Pretender. They released their debut UK album, Get Your Mood On, on December 4, 2006.

The band consist of: DaveLazer (Vocals/Guitar), Dr Robert (Guitar/Vocals), General Wolfe (Drums/Vocals) and Baco (Bass/Vocals).

The band received single of the week in The Guardian for 'To The Ramones and toured in the

UK and Europe extensively throughout 2006-07 to promote the album 'Get Your Mood On! The Album sold out on pre-order. The band also toured with The Paddingtons and The Others earlier on in their career and shared the stage with bands such as Arctic Monkeys, Babyshambles, Supergrass, KISS and Aerosmith.

Dustin's bar Mitzvah reformed in 2025, playing their first gig back in October supporting the Paddingtons at the 02 academy, Islington. Gemma Clark (ex-babyshsmbles) stepped in on drums.

Mardous

Formed in early 2004, The Mardous made their initial breakthrough not in London, buy in Paris, France. Within minutes of their first gig, the French climbed on tables and chairs to catch a glimpse of the band in action. Once having secured some Metropolitan Paris Underground love, this British three piece went back to the UK, to open up gigs for Pete Doherty, Babyshambles, The Paddingtons, The Cribs and 10,000 things. Creation Records Alan McGee met The Mardous the night that Carl Barât dragged him away from a dinner date to go and check out the three-piece at Carl's club in Mayfair, London. He signed them on the spot. They released first single 'Revolution over the phone' in August 2005 to critical acclaim, and started shortlisting 11 tracks to air on their debut

They played alongside all the noughties favourites. including Arctic Monkeys - on one occasion both bands' lead singers standing centre-stage during soundcheck for a coin-toss to decide which band would headline that night. Then, the crash. The arse fell out of the record industry. Universal Music pulled the plug. The album would never be released.

Until now.

20 years later, The Mardous are back. And they bring with them their freshly remastered album which documents tales on the road.
