A unique and special monthly social, curated by Hurst’s resident selector Eddy Temple-Morris, former presenter at MTV, Xfm, Virgin Radio, and now Virgin Radio Legends. A man called ‘legend’ by luminaries from Carl Cox to Kasabian. The Prodigy’s favourite ever tour DJ, DJ Fresh calls him his ‘guru’, Snow Patrol’s Gary Lightbody called him ‘twisted genius’ and Calvin Harris said of Eddy “He’s the nicest and most passionate man in the music business”. 

As its name suggests, the last Friday of every month will see Eddy host a unique get together at Nixons Music - where a musical theme - a band, or a genre, a career, or a canon of work, is discussed and dissected, broken down not just with words but with instruments. Eddy, a musician, producer and remixer whose music has featured in some of the biggest TV shows on the planet, will play drum parts, bass lines, guitar parts, live - and ask you to listen to songs in a way you’ve never listened before. You will be encouraged not just to listen, but to contribute, to have your say, give your opinion, ask questions, share thoughts and feelings…this will be a listening party amongst friends. A truly intimate and exclusive experience. 

But what you probably don’t know about Eddy - unless he’s cooked you dinner - is that he’s a serious cook and hosted a pop up restaurant in London, as head chef, making seven courses for fifty people, which sold out every time. As part of TLFC, Eddy will cook you a fabulous Friday dinner and even curate a wine pairing.
