The Northern Kinbaku Jam
The Northern Kinbaku Jam is a private, ticketed event for people to tie, practice, observe, and talk about Kinbaku. We open our doors to those who prefer to practice Shibari in a sex-positive, intimate, and quiet setting in the spirit of Kinbaku.
The event has been created with the aim of growing the Kinbaku community, as well as sharing knowledge and being inspired by our peers. If you are new to Kinbaku or simply intrigued, you are very welcome to apply to attend.
All levels are welcome. You can come on your own, or with friends and tying partners.
There is no obligation to tie. We believe that apart from attending classes and regular practice, watching your peers tie forms an integral part of the learning process.
Safety & Risk Policy
- Strictly Prohibited: Our risk policy does not allow for static single-upline suspensions or load-bearing neck ropes.
- Competency & Safety: Our team reserves the right to kindly ask you to stay within your competency level.
Important Note: If a team member feels you are going beyond your skill level—or risking your safety, the safety of your partner, or others—we reserve the right to ask you to leave without a refund.
