About Chinese+ Culture Club
Chinese+ Culture Club is an in-person gathering those who are interested in traditional Chinese culture.
Come and share all things fun and inspiring about traditional Chinese culture in a friendly environment. Run by transcreation specialist/art translator and Tai Chi instructor (CIMSPA-endorsed) Sheryl Sze, each session will feature a different theme. For aged 7 - 101, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Conducted mostly in English, an interest in the Chinese language will be beneficial, Chinese learners of any stage/proficiency (up to A-Level/degree level) welcome.
25 October 2026 Session Theme: Water
From how to write the word Water in Chinese, an ocean-themed song in Mandarin about the sea (to listen), ocean-themed design motifs in Traditional Chinese art, exploring water as inspiration for Tai Chi for wellbeing, to mythologies involving the sea, come for a friendly gathering.
