In obscure riverside corners East London that you will never visit, the hidden infrastructure that keep us alive is to be found. This is the very life support system for the city, hidden under flyovers and behind mesh fences. Here we find the power stations, docks and distribution centres that keep us fed and watered. On this live streaming tour, veteran tour guide, walking artist and sustainability provocateur Simon Cole will reveal this hidden world. Where does our stuff arrive? Where does our waste go? The fundamentals of city life go unseen in places like this. Join us for a new appreciation of the systems that the metropolis runs on.
