Alternative warehouse culture: a key driver of the 'cultural regeneration' of East London. Cheap space made this DIY culture possible and created an unlikely village hidden from the mainstream. On this socially-distanced small-group walk, we'll explore the recent history of the Wick and find out what was going on in worlds hidden behind those warehouse doors. How did unusual and plentiful space create the biggest artist colony in Europe – and what's happened to it now?
