About Sigldigwt Festival

Join the dancing wagtails by the river at Penpont on the 28th of September for a celebration of music, fine feasts, woodfired saunas, local beers and handmade cocktails.
Gracing the Courtyard Stage we welcome the folk-inspired psychedelic dance troop The Wanton String Band, alongside Katuš, The Moscow Trip and local artists, Flynn Daggett, Iris Rei and Hawk Howard & the Talons. More acts to be announced soon!
Festival goers can enjoy Penpont's woodfired sauna which will be blazing throughout the event free-of-charge, alongside exploring the Adfyw Land Library, tree trails, eclectic lawn games and the iconic Greenman Maze.
Gates open at 11am with the first performances kicking off at Midday. The festival closes at Midnight on the 28th.
Please note that there is no overnight camping option at Penpont. However, there is a beautiful riverside campsite just 10 minutes walk downstream from the festival called Aberbran Fach - please get in touch directly with them to book in. There is a second campsite - Aberbran Fawr - 15 minutes walk from the festival site in the same direction.
Note that the festival bars and foodstalls will accept cards only.
No dogs* permitted for this one, thank you! (*guide/assistance dogs are welcome)
Siglidgwt is welsh for Wagtail and translates more literally as 'shake-your-tail' - a gesture to the river, its wild inhabitants and the dancefloor :) Pronounced SHIGGLE-DEE-GOOT.

Cancellations and Refund Policy
Unfortunately we can't refund any tickets. If you can no longer attend you are welcome to sell your ticket onto someone else who can. You (the seller) will need to contact us at sigldigwt2024@gmail.com to change the name on the ticket (to the buyer's names).
Children's Tickets
Whilst Siglidgwt is an adult orientated event, we have released a limited number of childrens tickets. All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Penpont hosts many family focussed events through the calendar year, so do follow us on social media to find out about other events happening here.
