About Romeo & Juliet: A Ballet
London Ballet Theatre presents: Romeo & Juliet – Set to the Music of Queen
Three Shows | Three Saturdays | One Epic Love Story
A bold reimagining of Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy told through the legendary music of Queen.
Set in fair Verona, Romeo & Juliet: A Queen Ballet follows the timeless story of forbidden love, family feud, and destiny—infused with the unstoppable energy of Queen’s greatest hits.
A taste of the drama:
Two households, both alike in dignity,
In fair Verona, where we lay our scene…
They clash, they spit, they draw their blades with lust—
Another one bites the dust!
This one-of-a-kind production blends Shakespearean verse, powerful ensemble ballet, and the music of Queen to tell a story that’s both classical and explosively modern. From Juliet’s yearning “Can anybody find me somebody to love?” to the thrilling defiance of “Don’t Stop Me Now,” each scene pulses with emotion, rhythm, and theatrical flair.
