About Don Quixote: Tickets from £25 - £31 | London Ballet Theatre

WORLD PREMIERE · 23 MAY 2026

The dream is real. The fire is undeniable. The moment is now.

London Ballet Theatre proudly announces the World Premiere of Don Quixote, a production that does not simply retell a legend, but ignites it into something entirely, breathtakingly new.

Set against the golden dust of Cervantes' sun-scorched Spain, this is ballet reimagined for the world we live in today. A world that is vibrant, diverse and gloriously human. London Ballet Theatre's extraordinary ensemble, drawn from across continents and cultures, brings an electric authenticity to every arabesque, every grand pas de deux, every triumphant finale. This is not merely a cast. It is a constellation of exceptional talent united by one language: the universal language of dance.

At its heart, London Ballet Theatre is a community organisation, and that spirit of community is woven into every fibre of this production. One of LBT's most cherished and defining qualities is its profound commitment to inclusivity. Our stage is shared by professional dancers of the highest calibre alongside dancers of all levels and backgrounds, from those at the very beginning of their journey to seasoned performers who have dedicated their lives to the art. This is what makes LBT truly singular. This is ballet not as an exclusive pursuit, but as a living, breathing, shared human experience, and watching it unfold before you is nothing short of joyous.

What makes this production unlike anything London has ever witnessed is LBT's celebrated multi-sensory vision. The stage becomes a living, breathing world where classical choreography of the highest order is woven together with cinematic video projection, original spoken narration and an immersive soundscape that transports audiences from their seats into the very heart of Barcelona itself. Every sense is awakened. Every emotion is reached. Every moment is felt. This is an evening of pure, exhilarating entertainment from the very first note to the very last bow.

Kitri blazes onto the stage in a storm of crimson and gold, her spirit uncontainable, her joy infectious and irresistibly free. Basilio pursues her with the passion and wit that has made this ballet the greatest celebration of love and laughter in the entire classical repertoire. And around them, a company of remarkable artists from every background, every story and every corner of the globe pour their whole hearts into a production built on the profound belief that ballet belongs to everyone.

London Ballet Theatre was founded on the principles of inclusion, accessibility and artistic courage. This production honours those values in every single moment. Whether you are a lifelong devotee of classical ballet or stepping into this magnificent world for the very first time, Don Quixote will welcome you, move you and leave you utterly transformed.

Your evening begins the moment you arrive. Every guest will be welcomed with a glass of Prosecco or wine, because a night this extraordinary deserves to be savoured from the very first sip. This is not simply a performance. It is an occasion. It is a memory in the making.

The World Premiere on 23rd May is a singular and unrepeatable event. The season then continues with its explosive return on 20th June, before reaching its magnificent grand finale on 4th July. Yet there is only one opening night. One first curtain. One moment when London bears witness to this extraordinary production for the very first time.

Do not allow that moment to pass you by.
