About First Scares
What film or TV moment genuinely terrified our stars of stage and screen? Find out, as broadcaster and writer Matthew Sweet gets to the bottom of it with two shows: fascinating pool of guests, Academy Award-winning screenwriter Peter Straughan (Conclave), BAFTA winning script supervisor Angela Allen; actor and comedian Nick Frost; film director Carol Morley (The Falling, Typist Artist Pirate King); and actor and writer Joanna Scanlan.
14.00 Matthew interviews Nick Frost (Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz), Peter Straughan (Conclave), Bafta Winning Best Actress Joanna Scanlon (After Love), Angela Allen.
17.00 Matthew interviews Mark Gatiss (Sherlock, The League of Gentlemen), Lesley Manville (The Crown, Mrs Harris Goes to Paris), Sharon Duncan-Brewster (Dune), Carol Morley (The Falling, Typist Artist Pirate King).
Expect favourite scares, childhood nightmares and plenty of debate about what really gets under our skin.
