Haunted by the memory of the man who stalked her, Boston data analyst Sawyer (Claire Foy) is committed to a psychiatric facility against her will, in a conspiracy that suits both her stalker and a predatory health establishment. A modern B-movie shot on smartphones - call it a cellu-noir - Unsane is also a timely (not-so-)paranoid thriller for the age of MeToo and technological overload, kinetically realised by Oscar-winning director Steven Soderbergh.

The screening will be introduced by film critic Brogan Morris (BFI, The Guardian, BBC Culture), who will also join us for an informal post-film discussion in the Castle Cinema bar.
