An ungrateful beast repays kindness with ingratitude. Should we set it free or kill it?
The play The Fable of The Ungrateful Wolf tells the story of Mr. Dung Gwok, who risked his life to save an injured, fleeing wolf. However, after the wolf escaped danger, it repaid kindness with ingratitude, even attempting to devour its savior out of hunger. In reality, there are many wolves, but even more Mr. Dung Gwok. When faced with a creature that repays kindness with cruelty, would you choose to kill it or let it go?
