About Girls, Glamour Giggles:
Our feisty, funny and fabulous hostess for this comedy extravaganza will be Major General Jezebel Pye, woman, demon, goddess.
The evening will feature a wide range of comedy and entertainment including:
Jo Phaure, local comedian and slowly rising star, brings her life's woes to the stage with dark blue anecdotal self-depreciating humour. She was a finalist in the West End New Old Comedian of the Year competition in 2024 and a semi-finalist the year before. So she is improving just slowly.
Katie-Rose Petley is a “delightfully vulgar” Canadian stand-up who cut her comedy teeth in Amsterdam before settling on the Kent coast. This year she’s been taking her one-hour show Dirty B*tch to festivals across the UK including the Brighton Fringe and Newcastle Fringe. Catch her this October at the Faversham Fringe!
Jason Simmons is an electrifying hypnotist, mentalist, mind-reader, and comedian whose shows blend laughter, amazement, and audience participation in equal measure. Known for his unique mix of comedy hypnosis, sleight-of-mind mentalism and quick wit, Jason’s performances keep crowds guessing: “Is this real… or brilliantly staged?”
Since 2018, he’s entertained audiences across holiday parks, theatres, cruise ships, festivals, and corporate events in the UK and beyond. Imagine Derren Brown meets Tommy Cooper—Jason’s style is smart, cheeky, and always unforgettable. Volunteers may find themselves believing they’re pop stars, stuck to their chairs, or having their minds hilariously read, all while the rest of the audience is in stitches.
Clint Stevenson has been captivating audiences with his magic since he was 19. At 30, he took the stage at the G Casino talent competition, where he discovered his talent for blending comedy with magic. Since then, he has honed his unique style through street performances in London, mastering the art of engaging crowds with laughter, wonder and a touch of mischief.
Sarah Mills is a disabled writer, actor, comedian and producer. Sarah’s debut Radio 4 series, Sarah Mills’ Bad Bod Squad aired in November 2024. Sarah is a winner of the BAFTA Rocliffe award for TV Comedy and a Semi-Finalist in the Funny Women Stand Up Awards. Listed as one of 2023's Disability Power 100, and a runner-up in the Entertainment category sponsored by Channel 4.
