About Coma (2022) Presented by: Not By Lynch

Coma, created during the COVID-19 pandemic, follows a teenage girl whose online world—YouTube gurus, plastic dolls, virtual forests—begins to merge with her dreams. The film slips between animation, live action and screenlife formats to evoke the disorientation of lockdown.

Critics have described it as neo?Lynchian for its layered dream structure, haunted domestic spaces and collapsing boundaries between reality and imagination. Bonello reinterprets the Lynchian for the digital age, where nightmares unfold on glowing screens.

With an accompanying essay and introduction by critic, Blaise Radley.
