Cavort presents a night of classic UK rave energy as we welcome a true pioneer of the scene — Mark Archer (Altern8, Nexus 21, Bizarre Inc).

As far as rave legends go, few artists sit higher on the list. Mark Archer is a founding member of Bizarre Inc, one half of Nexus 21 and Altern 8, and has also released music under numerous aliases including DJ Nex, Trackman and Slo Moshun. Widely recognised as one of the most influential electronic music producers of the last three decades, Mark helped define the sound of early UK rave culture and continues to perform globally today.

Still writing and DJing across the world, Mark’s sets blend jacking acid, classic techno, funk, hardcore, hip-hop and, of course, his most iconic speciality — Old Skool Rave. He remains a resident at the legendary Bangface Weekender and regularly appears at major festivals including Glastonbury, Boomtown and Shindig Festival.

Expect a high-energy underground session celebrating rave heritage alongside carefully selected support DJs bringing the Cavort atmosphere to life.
