About Writers' Workshop: Writing Short Stories with Cynan Jones
Short stories and the short-form novel are having something of a moment. It’s a tradition that has always been popular in Welsh literature and there is no better exponent than the award-winning Cynan Jones.
So we’re delighted that Cynan will be sharing his experience and top tips in the first of our two writers’ workshops.
As this is a hands-on workshop, places are limited to 15 people, so sharpen your pencil or charge up your laptop and book your ticket now.
Cynan Jones won a Society of Authors Betty Trask Award 2007, a Jerwood Fiction Uncovered Prize 2014, the Wales Book of the Year Fiction Prize 2015 and the BBC National Short Story Award 2017. His work has appeared in more than twenty countries, on BBC Radio 4 and in Granta, Freeman's, and the New Yorker. He is the author of The Dig, Cove, Stillicide and Pulse.
