About Annual Ugly Bonnets Extravaganza!
Our Ugly Bonnets event returns!
In Spring last year we held our first annual Ugly Bonnets Craft EXTRAVAGANZA. It was so popular that we knew we had to bring it back this Spring! Ugly bonnets, hilarious hats, ridiculous headpieces - you can make your very own at this once-a-year crafting session.
Over an hour and a half, you will be given a base hat to craft onto and from there, anything goes! We have boxes and boxes of materials for you to choose from, though you are welcome to bring your own bonnet-topping items. We will have a prize for the most fabulous (and ugliest!) bonnet, and the winner will be decided by the participants collectively. Last year, masterpieces included layered floral numbers, googly-eyed characters, multicoloured birds nests, dramatic scenes, and even a towering barbie!
Current crafters and beginners are all very welcome. Just bring along a can-do attitude and a willingness to be a little silly!
Materials and a cuppa are included. Spaces are limited, so move quickly to reserve a space. This is a self-led session in a supportive environment, for adults aged 16 and over.

Pre booking required. This event is for adults, minimum age 16.
Refunds available up until 4 days prior to the event. If you know you can't make it to this event after the deadline for refunds has passed, please still let us know that you won't be coming!
Your space can also be transferred to another person. If doing this, please email events@duncanplace.org to let us know the name of the person taking your place.
