An alternative print workshop in Hove.
'Everyone has a garment in their wardrobe or textile in their home that they don't quite love, bring it in to a MINK. workshop & rework it into a cherished, bespoke design.'
Working with a curated set of tattoo-inspired illustrations, you’ll learn to print directly onto your piece using a unique screen-printing method developed specifically for finished garments and interiors.
This is a relaxed, small-group session focused on placement, design and transformation- no prior experience needed.
You’ll have the opportunity to hone your new skill and practice on to patch fabrics provided before printing onto your own piece, guided by experienced screen-printer Rosanna Bishop.

TIMINGS - 12 - 2.30 [ 2.5 hours ]
The workshop introduction & demonstration will begin at 12, please arrive 5-10 minutes before, meet the group & enjoy a complimentary beverage (coffee, tea & locally brewed beers provided).
LOCATION - The studio is on the first floor of Industrial House, Hove (opposite the bus depot)

WHAT TO BRING - The beauty/ peril of printing is the results can be unpredictable- happy accidents can happen but are usually rectifyable, so please bring a few pieces with you to print on.
WHAT TO WEAR - Printing can be messy and these inks are intended to stay on textiles, so please be mindful not to wear your best outfit to this event just incase- aprons will be provided. Avoid wearing big sleeves as these can get in the way when washing/ printing.
EXTRA INFO - The studio is located on the first floor, accessed by stairs. If you have any questions about accessibility, please get in touch before booking and we’ll do our best to advise or accommodate you.
DOG - The studio is Rosanna's everyday workshop which she shares with her dog Flea, if you have allergies please let her know beforehand.

General Information
Studio MINK. workshops are small, hands-on creative sessions run by Designer and Screen- Printer Rosanna Bishop in her private print studio in Hove, East Sussex. Workshops are designed to be relaxed, experimental and fun but they also involve working with professional printmaking materials and equipment, so please read the following terms carefully before booking.
1. Attendees
Workshops are strictly 18+ years. Each session is limited to eight attendees to ensure individual attention and safety. The workshop space is located upstairs and is therefore regretably not fully accessible for all participants, please contact Rosanna before booking if you have accessibility requirements.
