Event Terms & Conditions

General Information

Studio MINK. workshops are small, hands-on creative sessions run by Designer and Screen- Printer Rosanna Bishop in her private print studio in Hove, East Sussex. Workshops are designed to be relaxed, experimental and fun but they also involve working with professional printmaking materials and equipment, so please read the following terms carefully before booking.

1. Attendees

Workshops are strictly 18+ years. Each session is limited to eight attendees to ensure individual attention and safety. The workshop space is located upstairs and is therefore regretably not fully accessible for all participants, please contact Rosanna before booking if you have accessibility requirements. 

2. Health, Safety & Allergies

Studio MINK. uses eco pigment pastes, screen-printing emulsions, and detergents (including Fairy Liquid). If you have any known skin sensitivities or allergies, please notify Rosanna prior to booking or avoid participation. Attendees take part at their own discretion and risk. Protective gloves and aprons will be provided, but please wear clothes you don’t mind getting ink on, as inks are permanent. The studio has a small dog present on some days. If you have a dog allergy or phobia, please inform Rosanna in advance so appropriate arrangements can be made. 

3. Equipment Use

For safety reasons, attendees must only use the equipment demonstrated by Rosanna during the session. Hairdryers and hand tools are available to use at your own discretion, and you are responsible for using them safely. Studio MINK. cannot accept responsibility for any injuries, accidents, or damages caused by improper use of equipment. 

4. Refreshments

Complimentary refreshments may include tea, coffee, soft drinks, and locally sourced alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic drinks are strictly optional and consumed at your own risk. Studio MINK. cannot accept liability for any allergies, intolerances, or reactions to provided refreshments. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please let Rosanna know in advance or bring your own beverages. 

5. Cancellations & Refunds

As workshops are small and materials are prepared in advance, tickets are non-refundable. You may transfer your ticket to another person if you can no longer attend, just notify Rosanna in writing at least 48 hours before the session. If Studio MINK. needs to cancel a workshop (e.g., illness, unforeseen circumstances), you will be offered an alternative date or full refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All workshop materials, designs, and teaching content remain the intellectual property of Studio MINK. Attendees may photograph their own work during and after the session, but are asked to credit @studio_mink if posting on social media. Studio MINK. reserves the right to photograph or film parts of the workshop for marketing purposes. Please let Rosanna know in advance if you prefer not to be photographed.

7. Liability

Studio MINK. holds full public and product liability insurance. However, participation in workshops is at the attendee’s own risk, and Studio MINK. cannot accept responsibility for: Injury, loss, or damage to personal property Allergic reactions or skin irritation Accidents resulting from non-compliance with safety instructions

8. Code of Conduct

Studio MINK. aims to maintain a welcoming, inclusive and creative environment. Any behaviour deemed disrespectful, disruptive or unsafe will result in immediate removal from the workshop without refund.

9. Artwork & Copyright

All artwork, illustrations, and designs used during Studio MINK. workshops are the intellectual property of Rosanna Bishop / Studio MINK.

By attending, you are granted permission to print and keep your personally made items for private, non-commercial use only. Finished garments or textiles printed during the workshop must not be sold, reproduced, or used for commercial purposes. You may post your finished pieces on social media, please credit @studio_mink when doing so. The designs themselves, or any digital reproductions of them, may not be copied, traced, or reprinted outside of the workshop environment.
