About West Midlands Federation of Womens Institutes 52nd Annual Meeting
We would like to extend a cordial welcome to all West Midlands WI members to join us at this event. It is hoped that all WIs will send one member as a Delegate and other members are welcome to attend as Observers. Delegates will have the cost defrayed from their WI funds.
This invitation is open to all WI members and not just Committee members. The room seats 150 and we will hold a ballot if over-subscribed but all WIs who apply for tickets will have a representative attending.
Refreshments will be available from 9.30am and a chance to meet up with friends. At 10.30am we’ll start with a short session on WI business then follow on with two short talks from charities; a women’s centre and hospice providing an insight into what they offer across the region.
Lunch will not be provided as there are many opportunities to find lunch nearby.
In the afternoon, certificates will be awarded, and we’ll hear from our keynote speaker Dr Annie Gray.
