As prince Hamlet mourns the loss of his father, a royal wedding follows quickly at the heels of the royal funeral and at most wicked speed his mother marries his uncle; something is rotten in the state of Denmark! The crucial difference between that which is and that which seems to be, holds the key for Hamlet, as he vows to avenge a murder most foul. Regarded as one of the greatest plays in the English language, Aethelflaed Theatre Company are delighted to offer this traditional candlelit production in the beautiful historic setting of Worcestershire’s Hartlebury Castle.
