About Choreo + Characterisation 1 - full course

Do you want to try burlesque dancing but aren't sure where to start? Want to add a little sass to your movement? Or to boost your confidence and self-love? Join international burlesque artist Fleur du Mal for regular burlesque-based dance sessions, every Wednesday evening! We'll be learning a different routine every three weeks, learning and honing choreography, and exploring how to put our own personal spin on things.

These classes are beginner level, suitable for those who have no burlesque or dance experience - or those who have completed one or more of our 'Introduction' courses. Come along to separate sessions on a drop-in basis, or sign up for a block of six weeks for a discount!

Accessibility information
The room we use is up a flight of stairs. There is also a step at the entrance to the venue itself.

What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in easily! Layers are a good idea as the room we use can get pretty warm.
Trainers or pumps are suitable footwear, although you're welcome to bring dance heels to change into after the warmup if you like.
For the first three classes, please bring a pair of long gloves if you have them - elbow length or higher is best. For the next three classes, please bring a boa if you have one, or a long scarf as an alternative
