PAPER MOUSE THEATRE are thrilled to present Charles Dickens’
“A Christmas Carol”
for the 2026 festive season.
A literary classic of redemption, we are presenting this much-loved story performed by JUST TWO ACTORS! This of course involves a great deal of wig, hat and tomfoolery action - while we are respectful (indeed humbled) by the gorgeous original text, this will by no means be a standard retelling. Clowning, physicality and jokes galore will fill the lovely Micklegate Social in York.
Keeping in line with one of our Paper Mouse mantras, we will be using, when possible, recycled and upcycled props, costumes and set elements.
Please note that the evening performances are only available for over-18s, as licensing restrictions apply to the venue.
