Ticketing for film clubs and community cinemas

Sell tickets for one-off screenings or a full season. Low fees, free to list, and support from a real team, not a chatbot.

Free to list · No monthly platform fee · Real human support

Built for programmes that screen regularly

Ticketlab suits volunteer-led and independent film programmes: the kind that pack village halls, museums, and indie venues night after night.

  • Film clubs & societies: membership audiences, seasonal programmes, guest speakers
  • Community cinemas: village halls, arts centres, pop-ups
  • Museum & venue series: high-frequency slots, archives, special screenings
  • Film festivals & one-offs: multi-session events without enterprise software

Questions from film organisers

Do I need a film screening licence as well as Ticketlab?

Yes. To charge for a public screening in the UK you typically need the right copyright licence (for many titles, a Single Title Screening Licence via Filmbankmedia or equivalent). Ticketlab handles ticketing and payments, not film rights. See our guide to starting a film club.

Can I sell tickets for a whole season?

Yes. Create events per screening or use series-style listings where available; same low-fee model.

Is Ticketlab a cinema booking system for multiplexes?

No. We are event ticketing for organisers (film clubs, community cinemas, museums, festivals), not a chain cinema POS.

What does it cost to list?

Free to create and list. Guests pay a booking fee (or you can absorb it where the product allows).
