For sports clubs and sports organisations

Ticketing for sports clubs

Got a fixture to fill, a tournament to run, or an awards night in the clubhouse? Put it online, take the money before people arrive, and get on with the day. Free to list, nothing monthly, and a real person on the other end if something wobbles.

Free to list · No monthly platform fee · Real human support

Match tickets, tournaments, and club nights

Sell tickets for the next home game, and for the other things your club puts on through the year. Each one is its own event: a price, how many you can let in, and a link you can share.

  • Home fixtures. One listing per game. Drop the link in the supporters' chat. People pay before they turn up.
  • Tournaments and sports days. A few sessions, a cap on numbers, and a clear list of who's coming.
  • Club nights and fundraisers. Awards evenings, open days, end-of-season dinners: same simple setup as a matchday.
  • More than one person running it. Invite the secretary, the treasurer, or whoever is checking tickets on the day. They get their own login from the email.

A bit easier on matchday

A few ways we can help, however you like to manage your events.

  • Get paid before people arrive. Supporters buy online and bring a QR ticket on their phone. You've still got a guest list you can search if you need it.
  • No monthly bill sitting there before you've sold a ticket. Free to list. No monthly platform fee. Buyers pay a small booking fee, or you can absorb it.
  • Set up an event in the time you've got. Publish a page and share the link the same afternoon. No season-ticket product, seat map, or club app required.
  • Everyone gets their own login. Sharing one password around the committee is a GDPR headache. Invite teammates on ticketlab.app and each person sets their own password from the email.

Who we work with

Sports clubs on Ticketlab sell match tickets and the events around them: golf days, club nights, one-off friendlies. A regular fixture and a single fundraiser both fit.

Among them:

  • a golf club in West Yorkshire putting on golf days
  • a sports and social club in South Wales selling club events
  • a bowls club running regular club nights
  • a grassroots football club in Surrey selling match tickets

Start selling tickets

Clear fees on a proper club ticket price

At a small club, an adult ticket is often around £8 to £10, sometimes less. When tickets are that price, a monthly software bill is hard to justify. You want the money from ticket sales going to the club.

Ticketlab is free to list. There is no monthly platform fee. Buyers pay the booking fee, or you absorb it so the price on the page is the price they pay.

If you sold 80 tickets at £8 for a Saturday fixture:

Buyers pay (including fees)
£694.40
Booking fees (paid by buyers)
£54.40
You receive (ticket face value)
£640.00

Questions we get from clubs

Can I sell a season ticket?

Not as one pass for every home game. List each fixture on its own; supporters buy the games they want. If you need a full season product with one scan-all pass, you'll want a different kind of platform.

Can I charge adult and junior prices?

Each listing has one ticket price today. Need two prices? Make two listings (say "Adults" and "Juniors") and share both. Multiple ticket types on a single event is not available yet.

Do supporters get an app or a wallet pass?

They get a QR ticket by email, and a page they can open on their phone. There is no Ticketlab supporter app, and that is fine for most club turnstiles and doors.

Can I check tickets at the door?

Yes. You've got the QR and a guest list. A volunteer can check people in from a phone. It is not a turnstile system for a big league ground; it is the practical version for a volunteer-run club.

We also run a fundraiser and an awards night.

List those as events too. Want a voluntary donation on top of the ticket? Switch on optional donations for that event. The buyer opts in, and it does not get baked into the headline price.

Is this right for a professional club?

If you need season tickets, a ticket office, hospitality packages, and a supporter app, look at a platform built for that job. Ticketlab is for clubs and sports organisations selling tickets to events: the fixture, the tournament, the night in the clubhouse.

What does it cost to list?

Nothing. Create the event, share it, done. No monthly platform fee. The booking fee sits on the ticket and the buyer pays it, unless you choose to absorb it.
