About Hanging by a Thread - Sandbar
This is the true story behind one of the UK’s most audacious acts of peaceful resistance. On 17th October 2022 Marcus Decker and Morgan Trowland unfurled a huge banner over the QEII bridge, which demanded 'Just Stop Oil'. They hung there, suspended in the sky for 37 hours, creating headlines across the globe. Join us on the bridge for a unique evening, which explores our lives at the edge of extinction, through songs of freedom and tales of imprisonment.
This performance will contribute to ongoing legal fees, as Marcus continues to face deportation and will be followed by a Q&A.
