Argonaut Books and Leith Kino are continuing their collaboration with Saturday screenings over September in the bookshop space.

Join us to celebrate the life of beloved actor Sam Neill with a screening of John Carpenter's Lovecraftian apocalypse bonanza In the Mouth of Madness at Argonaut Books!

Horror author Sutter Cane mysteriously vanishes just as his devilish creations are starting to bleed into real life. What begins as an insurance investigation into his disappearance for John Trent (Neill) slowly starts to unravel the very fabric of reality, fiction, the apocalypse, and everything in between!

Carpenter's playfully meta approach to the work of H.P. Lovecraft closes off his informal, thematic trilogy with The Thing (1982) and The Prince of Darkness (1987). 

Tickets cost £6 and there are a number of free tickets available here for those not in a position to pay.

Please note that this screening will take place inside Argonaut Books (not Leith Depot).

Accessibility Information

Argonaut Books is an accessible, ground floor venue with gender neutral toilets. Seating is flexible and can be rearranged to accomodate specific needs and you're welcome to bring extra cushions for comfort if you like.
